Admission Priorities
Priority 1: Siblings
We give preference to siblings of students already enrolled in the school. Because of our commitment to keeping families united in a single school, siblings of existing students move to the top of their respective category.
Priority 2: Parent Referral
We give preference to friends and families of our Parent Community. All applications in this category will move ahead next to the siblings category.
Priority 3: Children of Teaching & Administrative Staff
The children of teachers and administrative staff will be guaranteed admission as long as it is believed that the school can meet their particular needs, and all other admission criteria are met fully. Such admissions are to be agreed by the Head of School prior to signing the offer letter of employment.
Admissions will be filled on a first cum first serve basis in the above categories and under no circumstances will we deviate from the confined strength of the classroom. This will help us sustain the quality of instruction and the individual attention to our Canarians.
Inclusion
Canary welcomes all students regardless of any differences in their identity, origin, abilities and beliefs. The teaching and learning at the school is designed on the principles of differentiation and inclusion.
